Zakinthos State Airport
"Dionisios Solomos"

General Information

Dionysios Solomos airport of Zakinthos has quite interesting charter traffic especially in July and August. It is connected with Athens and Thessaloniki with schedule flights of Olympic (Dash8 & ATR42) and Athens Airways (Embraer 145). The runway 16/34 has a length of 2.234m and both approaches offer a great view of the island (above the sea or at the right side of the Town). In 2007 the new terminal took the place of the older (and much smaller) one. The apron has 7-8 parking places depending on the aircraft type (the biggest a/c serving is B757).
