General Information

In the world of planespotting, Corfu airport “Ioannis Kapodistrias” is one of the most famous and popular airports in Greece, as the increased number of movements in the summer months and the beautiful surroundings help create some of the most characteristic aviation images. 

It is also one of the top airports in Greece in terms of the number of charter flights from around Europe that use its single runway (17/35). The latter’s dimensions (2375x45m) enable the airport to accept even wide-body aircraft.
