The Air Force of
the greek army stays away from the limelight, unlike the other corps which may
be famous for an instance. However, it doesn’t lack of service. A carrier with a
long and glorious history, continues nowadays its mission.
Air-Born had the pleasure and the honor to be at Stefanovikio Magnisias and
visit the units of 1st Army Battalion who have their base there. Our members
were shown around the hangars, the ramp and the site of 1st Army Aviation
Battalion, the 1st Attack Helicopter Battalion and the rest of the units.
They watched the activities, they discussed with the personnel and lived, for a
while, in
the rythmes of Air Force of greek army.
The hospitality and the professionalism of the personnel is praiseworthy. We all
had the
best impressions and we hope to repeat this successful visit soon.
