How to get there

Observation Point 8 is located on the slopes of the hill in the south of Rhodes Airport thus offering panoramic view of the airport, take-offs and landings. In order to get there, you will have to follow the directions towards Observation Point 6 and drive across the central road exiting Paradeisi village. Turn right and then left (after 50 meters). Upon reaching the fork, you will have to choose the right hand side path going uphill. On the next right hand turn, you will have a panoramic view, while Observation Point 8 is located on the next one. The distance from Observation Point 6 is approximately 2 kilometers and the elevation is 8-10 degrees.

You can also follow the directions towards Observation Point 6, walking/driving accross the main road that crosses Paradeisi village. Since the traffic is quite heavy, pedestrians are advised to avoid this option.

Getting to Point 6 from the air terminal, takes approximately 20 minutes; by car it's less than 10 minutes.

 Light conditions

Optimal light conditions occur from morning till noon.

Photographic equipment
